Thrustmaster Force Feedback Pro Clutch RGT - disassembly -

I don't really found any source on the net, about the disassembly process of this wheel, but when my left shifter has gone, I tried to disassemble, and took some images to show you guys how to do it an hope this will save some time for you.

Remove the screws from the bottom.

Remove the sticker and you'll find two more screws under this.

Here you are, the upper part has the shifter with a quite long cable, unplug and you can remove safely the cover.

Now let's see the wheel itself. Rotate the wheel and remove these three screws.

The hardest part was this one, because the screw is from the back of the wheel and there is no place to remove it.

So, I've removed the plate, and make a whole right there in the point where the last screw is attached to the wheel. (there is nothing behind it you can not make damage, but don't forget to remove the plate to see exactly where have to make the whole.)

The left shifter has been fixed, with a little soldering, and glue.

Hope this helped you, don't forget to look back on occasion, for more useful tips.

  1. I found that if you remove all of the shifter assembly and unscrew the 4 red screws shown in the last picture, the wheel will come free of the base and you will then be able to reach that hidden screw without having to drill. If you then unsolder the wires going to the circuit board the wheel will come completely off of the base. I needed to do this because my wheel was damaged due to poor shipping.

  4. Hello! Does anyone know what microswitches I need to buy that are good for the steering wheel? I want to replace everything, but especially the one on the shift joystick because it’s completely broken. I don't want to take it apart until the microswitches are out.
    Thanks.
